Message:   Another thing, the slave cylinder may or may not have a return spring. On a couple of Dodge trucks I had the return spring was required. On the Town Wagon it has worked fine without it on some master/slave combos, on other combos it needed the spring for full return. It's [supposed to be] located at clutch arm at bellhousing.

This spring pulls back clutch lever which forces slave cylinder fluid back up into master, shoves master piston back a ways pumping fluid through return port and recharging system for next stroke. Can contribute to clutch pedal not returning.
