Message:   Ahhh.... the old WHEN was DeSoto's last year "BUILT" question. This is one of those... tricky questions. The last "YEAR" DeSoto was built was in 1960 (Nov. 29th last production day) BUT, it was a 1961 model I learned this at a DeSoto convention. Oh, for those of you that don't know... I own a 1956 DeSoto Adventurer with a 341 HEMI and DUAL Carter carbs. Yep, factory stuff available on the Adventurer model!

Shame about the Ford plant (Never a Taures fan). I would have rather seen them open it as something else... like a parts place, or Something to keep all/most/some of the employees working.
