Message:   I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with something to get the power and mileage up. I put superchips in my Diesel and went from 17 to 19 mpg. If the tranny would handle it, I would go with bigger injectors which would bring it up another 2 mpg.
A twelve valve inline six Cummins in a regular cab 2wd 5-speed and a 3:55 gear will get 27 on the highway.
