Message:   My 70 parts truck and my 69 Adventurer both came with the west coast style mirrors on them and they were both stainless. The ones on my 69 had been painted, but definitely were stainless. The smaller three hole mirrors came either painted or chrome plated.
BTW, Don't hate me for this, but I threw away both sets of west coast mirrors. That was in 2000 and I didn't think anyone would ever want them.
