Message:   I am not 100% positive about this but I believe the '72 thru '93's are essentially identical. There may have been some frame upgrades done for the diesel but as Norm says you can just copy those to your frame. Seems like it should be a real straight forward swap no matter which way you choose to go. Also those early model years tended to rust over the rear wheels and under the bed rails.
