Message:   I had a 79 Dodge "parts car" with lean burn. I put the 360 engine in a truck. I converted it from lean burn. It was short on horse power. I changed timing several times and it was still a dog.
Finally I changed the distributor curve to a normal aspirated engine. Wow,! I gained at least 75 horsepower.

So, if you do junk the lean burn either re-curve the advance or replace the distributor. Gordo
