Sounds great!! That's been in my plans for several years but got bumped down on the priorities list. I do have some steel 1/4" [7mm?] steel diamond plate for step bottoms, then planning aluminum diamond plate for the vertical wrap-around part. On mine I need the steel on bottom for reinforcement.

I also want to use some diamond plate at my Town Wagon lower door corners in the rear center to reinforce. It looks better than my bodywork and is a whole bunch easier to do, and long lasting too! I love that aluminum stuff and could really get carried away with it
