Message:   It went to 335 horsepower in the RR and Super Bee's. That is an interesting question though. I have a '68 sales brochure that lists the 383 horsepower as 258. Since we know it is the car engine that has to be net HP but why would it be rated less on some (most apparently) of them? I checked the registry and found only 199 @ 4400 but I have seen a couple in person with the 258 rating and it was listed as net. I used to have a picture of one listed that way but i can't find it now. Mine does not list anything in that slot.
