Message:   The 69 D300 being suspect for a factory 440? OK, I will run the vin as well as check door tag.

As for balance, should not be a problem, I will leave the 400's torque converter intact with 400 engine. Vehicle the 400 is in is a 1973 D100 with bad tranny.

The 727 which I will use is the one that was attached to the 440 and comes out of a 69 D300.

(From the 69 D300 into the 73 D100) Hmmm,..

Good info as to bolt up. Looks like It's a go if they measure as twins, when on the shop floor. Thanks all. Gordo
