Message:   gonna try unloading the whole truck before i start tearing it to pieces. runs and drives pretty good, but smokes pretty bad. its a 1966 d100 long bed. under the hood is a 62 imperial 413 4bbl, factory 10 to 1 compression, rebuilt heads, elect ignition, eddy 650 carb, chrome wire looms, and WORKING A/C!!!!! will need an air cleaner to be complete (im keeping that), tranny is a 727 with a recent rebuild to 71 charger specs, lokar kickdown cable, lokar throttle cable, mild shift kit, 3.55 open rear end. over all the truck is in pretty good shape. minor tail gate and rocker rust, mostly small pin holes, and only a minor amount of cab rust in the drivers floor by the step seam. the inside of the bed is well used, but the rest of the body is pretty straight. chrome front bumper and grill, good tires, and stainless mirrors. the block will need work. while i had the heads off i saw that it was pretty wore out (the cause of the smoking). regaurdless of engine condition, the truck was driven from tuscon AZ to las cruces NM, all in all about a 6.5hr trip and gave not a minutes problem (only to the drivers behind me getting clouded...LOLOLOL0L) i also drive it to work here and there. asking $2000 cash as is. thats exactly what i paid for it, no profit to be made. i bought it for parts, you have everything here for a big block conversion in your truck, WITH AIR CONDITIONING, or fix this old gal up and drive it. oh, it has all new motor and tranny mounts as well, and the front brakes have been completely rebuilt with new rubber hoses and all. also has a driveshaft loop added and the aluminum tranny pan with cooling ribs. pics can be seen here in the 66 hpp project folder (no its not a real HPP)
