Message:   I agree with both scenarios. i worked doing VA and FHA loans for a few years. I could not believe the stuff my competitors were telling their customers. Jsut plain flat out lying to them that they were getting fixed rate loans when they were actually getting a 2 year arm. blatant fraud. Now you can blame the customer for not reading the terms and conditions of the loan, but, the language used in loan docs is slmost unintelligable to the average person. They try to read it and get a headache. It is written this way on purpose to keep the client in a state of confusion.
Fortunately now the subprime world has evaporated. things are like they used to be. you actually have to have a job or income to get a loan. gee what a concept!
I stayed in the VA and FHA loan part of it because they were good ethical loans.
