Message:   What was said, plus there's 2 more common areas for leaks. The windshield wiper pivots where bleade arm attaches can leak like a sive. Addition of a gasket underneath, plus an o-ring [you'll see where] and a dab of sealant helps. Good to add a bit of lube for o-ring.

Also the firewall crimps and welds on the Town Wagon and Sweptlines were spot welded, not having the entire seams welded up. After spotwelding Ma got out the mojo-gumbo and filled the seams. That stuff cracks after these many years. You can have someone play a high pressure hose stream against the front of truck and find those leaks looking under dash. I gooped them back up with Alex and all's well.

Townies also want to leak around the cowl vent. The gasket can be removed and replaced with closed cell foam, about 1/4" X 3/8" or 3/8" X 3/8", but it can be a pain because of design and screw placement.
