Message:   U-haul is notorious for lightweight, unsafe trailers, they won't carry much over 5,000 lbs safely.
Most of the guys over at the Power Wagon site, gave up on U-haul years ago.
Unless you have a brake controller, a BIG tow vehicle and an aftermarket trailer a Cummins powered anything is going to be an unsafe load for a Uhaul. You can lie to them and then if something happens you are in big trouble, in both liability and life and limb terms.
As a side, my 2WD 3500 Dodge. Cummins powered, cab/chassis weights exactly 8,000 lbs empty, certifed for the DMV when it left the Harbor Body plant.
