Message:   All great sug,on the back fire, remember Keep It Simple Sonny= KISS First ck your plug wires at night, real dark start it up and look for any arks from cross fire.Ive seen cars drive with crossed plug wires also, but do like Terry and Jim D said .We used to soak the header Gaskets in water over night, then install. It made the gasket a little softer and compressed better.Good luck and cant wait to see the picks of your truck.Does your truck take 10sec to move when you push down on the gas ...........JB(just kidding)
