That was a joke about the black cloud. I just have not had the same trouble that you have had other than the lift pump and the track bar wearing faster than I think it should. I understand the lift pump is used by Cummins on other applications also. If true, you can't blame Dodge for that design. I personally think the Carter pump is a poor choice for any use. I had one on a gasser years ago and it lasted no better in that application. Was noisy as all get out also.

Bear in mind not many people post on the forums about what good happened. Most of the time it is a question or complaint about something that broke or did not work right. You see the same type of thing on the Ford and Chevy/GMC forums also.
