Message:   Hello everyone. I am looking at buying an older truck for around the farm to push snow and haul water. There is a 1968 Dodge 200 4x4 for sale nearby ,well 2 hours away, which is close for where I live. I havent looked at it in person but have seen a couple pics...

pic 1

pic 2

He says it has dings in it, which can also been seen in the pics. But I am wondering about how the bodyline on the box/cab/fenders doesnt line up? He said there is air in all tires so what else could cause this? Uneven ground its sitting on or something more serious?

It is a 4spd, D60 front and rear with 4.10 gears. I was wondering what transfer cases are in these trucks? Do these trucks have a strong drivetrain? I know the D60 axles are but is the 4 spd and transfer case? He says its a gear driven transfer case but doesnt know what model it is.

What are other good things or bad things about these trucks?

How are they compared to the late 70s Dodge 200 4x4s?

Anything else I should look for if I go look at this truck?

Any help appreciated! Thanks
