Message:   I saw a post just today on one of the diesel sites mentioning there was no difference seen by one of the oil analysis places between the CJ-4 oils and CI-4 oils. It sounds like you either just got a lemon or you're walking around with a black cloud over your head like the character in lil' Abner. Boy, I just dated myself there.

I have not had any issues with ULSD at all. Mileage seems unaffected although when the winter fuel changeover occurs there seems to be a bit of a drop. That occurred before ULSD also. My only issue with my '01 has been the lift pump but I have a Walbro on it now and so far seems good. If and when it gives up the ghost I will probably go with an Airdog or FASS. I have an in with Eric @ Vulcan since he is about 5 minutes from my place. I do need another track bar. They don't seem to last as long as they should.

BTW, the trans issue I had was not the transmissions fault. We traced it down to the experimental change we did on the valve body. That's the way Tony developed the insight and knowledge he has on these trannys. Broke a lot of parts. After breaking it the second time we got it figured out and it works great now. I think this is the way he is building his valve bodies now.
