Message:   Can't speak for Robin, but a full frame off restoration or custom rebuild can run as much as 600-1200 man hours per vehicle at the premiere Hot Rod shops. Shops charge from $60 to $90 per hour, depending upon reputation, etc. So...$60,000.00, at the low end....
The "reality build shows" on TV usually have about $25,000 in labor because while they charge $60 an hour, they PAY about $20 per hour....
I would expect that Robin's workmanship is a lot better than some of the work you see at most shops.....

It's always cheaper to buy a restored vehicle than to restore one, because you'll never get your money out of it,... of course for many of us here, the build is the main thrill...
