Message:   You can still get new LA dipstick tubes from Chrysler for about 10 bucks. They are LONGER than a stock older LA small block. I had to hack about 3 inches off for my 340, they are also straight, you have to put the bend in them. No big deal. Cut the tube to desired length first, then drive it in second with a deep well socket over the top of the tube. Once the tube is driven in, then bend to desired angle.
