Message:   After the third person came up and asked me if I got the $2.99 gas guarantee, not to mention all the talk here!, I decided to check this out further. Last evening before I got a chance to cruise the net for info a Dodge commercial touting this gas program just happened to come the tv and I noticed an 800 number in the small print.

I call this morning and one of the options given was for program sign up, so I pressed that option. A very difficult to understand, but very nice woman eventually came on to assist me. The first thing she asked is if I had taken a rebate in lieu of this program and I told her there was a dealer rebate in effect but no mention of this gas program was made by the dealer.

Initially the rep says that if I took a rebate then I'm not eligible for the program, but when she entered my vehicles information into her computer she says I am indeed eligible and asked if I would like to sign up! I am to receive my program card within six weeks. Sometimes it pays to do some checking!
