Message:   rotors are much more likely to warp than drums. sometimes people think thier drums are warped when a vehicle has been sitting around. what happens is the part of the drum where the shoes touch doesn't rust and the other part does. this results in a shaking vehicle when you drive. sometimes it will go away and sometimes not. depends on the lining material and the drum material. rotors that sit can have this same problem but are usually warped.
