Message:   I don't have a D to compare with, but there is no wear on my '64 W200.
I've seen some very worn D200's, but they had much higher mileage than my truck.
Perhaps the W100 joint is lighter than the W200 joint?
All things being equal, I'd think that the wear would be similar. If there were larger tires (mine are 33-12.50-16.5) there may be more wear on the rag, but there may actually be less pressure on the rag, with larger tires as the pounds per square inch are less when spread over a larger area. My truck steers harder when parked because of the tire mass, but steers easier when rolling because of the weight per inch.
