Well its been a while since I posted last, lucky ole me I been touring northern Europe on a motorcycle with the other half for six weeks.Started out from Dover and caught the ferry to Calais that takes around an hour and a quarter. Saw the beaches and the old gun and defence bunkers. Then on to Ypres.
I assume most of you older folk know about it ill just say it was one of the most sad experiences of my life standing in the Tyne Cot cemetary looking at all the graves then at the Menen gate and watching the last post ceromony any one that doesnt get a lump in the throat or a tear in the eye aint human. Then down to Bastone where your guys held out and too the memorial to the American forces.I wonder how many of you have seen it yourselves? It really should be on the school Curriculum Maybe that would teach the kids of today some respect at what our kinfolk did for us. Ater Bastone I had to leave all the war stuff it just got too be too much and the missus was gettn restless so we spent the last few weeks doin the tourist bit had a lotta fun tho and that Yamaha never missed a beat.
Anyway what im here about is where can I get the weather stripping thet runs across the door on the inside and outside of the glass? the old Dodge is looking a mess at the moment all four doors off and the hood too still I'll get there in the end.
Cheers for now Chaps
John
