Urethanes are ok if they get wet and wont cause any problems, but if it's lacquer or nitrostane based it will absorb water and allow it to penetrate to the bare metal you have primed over and will cause rusting. It won't hurt the filler, but if the water gets to the bare metal around it, it will rust the metal around and under the filler causing it to lift over time.
Stick to urethane type primers and you won't have to worry about moisture. If you strip it down right away it shouldn't hurt anything as long as you don't let it sit too long.
