Message:   in 1981, I had a '41 Chevy one-ton truck that used to have a reefer box on it, and was changed to a flatbed. I had the 17.5" wheels on it and put a set of six Goodyear highway tread 8-ply bias-plies on it. It drove pretty nice. It had a straight front axle just like your truck has,a nd it drove and tracked well.
