Message:   The radial-versus-bias tire debate ends up being a matter of two things - ride quality and the appearance of originality. If you are doing a restoration to original, go with the bias-ply tires. If you want something that won't follow every rut and groove in the road, go with the radials.

The tires on those stock 5.25" rims are going to be pretty narrow and tall from the start. Radials tend to be a little harder to steer when the vehicle is sitting still, especially w/o power steering. The bias-plies will be somewhat easier to steer for parking.

It all ends up with this - which of these matters most to you? It's your truck.
