Jeff,

I'm confused.. I thought the 1 wire system was preferable over the 2, and an internally regulated one was better yet? I have upgraded to a solid state regulator. The current alternator that is getting replaced is a two wire with one wire grounded to the case so it works with one wire. How do you get a 2 wire regulator to work without grounding a field wire?

Matt
