Message:   To fit that tranny to the 4BT you'll need a Cummins SAE-3 flywheel housing and flywheel with mid-mount starter. High mount starter doesn't want to clear the turbo downpipe. They made them & Cummins can give the P/N on them. The 3053a only has .85 overdrive ratio, not much of an advantage? They're a pretty stiff shifting beasty, same tranny used in deuces.
