Message:   Toyota also had a recall on the Tacomas [late '90s
vintage] for inferior frames. My dad had a '96 with
only about 54K on it and the frame was shot. Toyota
bought it back from dad for $11,000 which he put
toward his '07 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab 4.7L 4x4
A very good end to a sad story.
