Message:   Hi,
I am installing an aftermarket mechanical oil gauge on my 1969 W300 with 318 engine. I took off the factory oil pressure sensor and discovered the block and the sensor have a bevel to them. The fittings I got with the new guage does not have the bevel. Do I just but some pipe tape on the treads of the new fitting, screw it in and call it good. Or, is there a special fitting I need to find? Also, is there a combination of fittings that will allow to run both the mechanical gauage and the idiot light sensor?
Thanks
