Message:		The only Federal Law that applies specific protection to the oil company representatives is the 5th Amendment to the Consititution, that one cannot be forced to incriminate themselves in a crime. That should tell you something..... Citizens can start the referendum process to cause their issues to be placed on a ballot for voting by the general population. The difficulty there is establishing a reasonable profit for the oil companies while preventing this continuous price gouging. There's not even much hope in that when one sees the ease with which one can 'cook the books' to show a net loss. Remember, these guys have good enough accountants that they don't even directly pay any taxes on BILLIONS of dollars in profits, 'cause times are so rough for them.....
