Message:   Never underestimate your enemy.

These guys are consumate experts at BIG Business, not chump change Mom & Pop corner businesses. They have already done all the planning and have their system fully in place to answer any action that consumers would attempt against their pricing scams. First, they are diversified beyond comprehension. % of this, full control of that, all across the board. Second, they control vast segments of various markets through this diversification. When you look at the fact that wages haven't risen significantly in 20-30 years and that the real money is all in artificially inflated markets, where the price just keeps going up, you see a bigger picture.

These are businesses that can change world politics, create or eliminate local, national and world crises, manipulate enormous areas of 'consumer life' around the globe, and even start and end wars. Getting diverse people organized to fight their already fully built world machine would be a monumental task to say the least.

Even if a group organized and created their own complet petroleum industry they still NEED one thing: Petroleum. The owners set the price, period. If a single country overpowered the Arabs to take oil by force then a war would erupt from all of the other countries who want it. If all of the countries of the world banded together then you still have to pay the price of operations and we all know what governments charge to run our lives. It would be a nightmare of confusions and disagreements and policies and beuraucracies beyond comprehension. Look at what the best Government in the world, American, has done for schools, politics, laws, transportation, controlling healthcare costs, controlling insurance rates and fairness in claims, distribution of wealth, true equal rights, etc. and you get the real picture.

The only solution I see is to find a way to use the supposedly poor quality petroleum that America is alread possessed of: but WHO OWNS THAT!??!!! The second solution that is most practial in the short and long term is to figure out a way to afford the cost of living and driving established by the CONTROL MECHANISM that runs the world.
