Message:   I swapped carbs on my 2 trucks about 2 weeks ago thinking I was having problems with 1 carb. The Eddelbrock 650 (1407) is the one I thought was giving problems so I mounted it to my 86 W-250 with a fresh 360, torq cam, headers, aluminum intake, and it ran may better than the 600 Eddy I replaced. This may or may not help you but just something I did; still yet to find out how the 600 does on the rebuilt stock 383. The problem I thought was the carb turned out to be a restriction in the rubber fuel line.
