Subject:   Distribution re: Poly Valve Cover Gasket

Message:   Just some info on distribution.
Please notice that the Victor number (on photo below)(Napa Purchased) is above the Felpro number on the packaging.

The Felpro number has a “R” after part number. Stands for rubber.

Local Napa Retail (Victor) was 20.40 Napa # says it is cork/rubber. Supposed to be Cork/Rubber Upon arrival I see it is 100% rubber!

Auto zone and Shucks (Felpro) “R” = 11.99 & 12.99

I called Victor Gaskets, and guess what? They do not even make the Gasket. They allow “Engine Products” to package it and call it Victor.!!! Guess What?,.. Engine products doesn’t make it either,!!!

Now as far as my Local Napa pricing it so high? Strictly my Local Napa priced.

Origin? Same outfit making both? Appears as it might be so.!!
