Message:   Jimmie, I have owned a 93' Dakota 4x4 shortbed 3.9 five speed since new. I love it, it's been a great low maintanance truck. I have actually thought of putting a pilot house 48-53 cab on one for a long time. They are cheap, often free, and they have about the same width as a Dakota.
