Message:   Robin, the difference is that the engines are designed and built in house by Chrysler. The brakes that we are talking about are built by some outside supplier who also builds similar, or exactly the same, parts for Ford and GM. It's not an apples to apples comparison. I actually don't have any problems with other manufacturers engines but there's no reason to swap when the Mopar engine is just as good and will bolt in. To say that upgrading the brakes or making an improvement is saying that the engineers did a lousy job is just silly.
