Message:   our series trucks use a different bolt pattern for the front axle than they do for the rear.

kits are available for the fronts and the rears. all use ford or chevvy parts.

FYI - the 96-ish Jeep Grand Cheerokee rear disc are nearly a bolt-in for the 8 3/4 but you will need to use the green bearing and ditch the tapered axle bearings.

there used to be a guy who had a front kit that uses dakota rotors and mopar calipers but his stuff is no longer available. there are rumors he is going to gear up another run but that has been banded about for two years now.

in short - if you want disc and don't want to fab up a bunch of stuff then buy a kit from AAJ or Scarebird and use a GM caliper with either a mopar rotor or a ford rotor.

if you don't mind fabrication of many parts then mopar stuff is not out of the realm of reality...

i have a AAJ kit but hindsight being 20/20 i think the scarebird is a better solution.

we're picky here in Florida as well - safety comes first.

Ben
