Message:   I hear ya Trey... I started with a 318 poly 4spd in my '62 W100. Motor needed freshening and was tired of the manual trans so rebuilt the Poly and convterted to 727 trans.

Was living in the mountains and the Poly just didn't have the grunt to haul that big truck through the steep roads so I end up pulling out the whole deal and swapping in my 440/727. Works great, good power but now I'm thinking maybe I should have done a cummins swap.....
