Message:   FYI: Diesel would have to be $68.75 if gas were $4.00 to break even. We must consider the extra tax exemption you can claim on your taxes. Liter per liter diesel is five times as efficient. If you drive a diesel, you do not need to pay at tolls, parking meters and public parking structures. Banks give interest free loans on diesel vehicles. You can park in handicap areas, use car pool lanes even if by yourself AND you can cross police lines. Spark plug savings alone keeps the jingle in your pants.
