Message:   First all, welcome to the forum, these guys really are a helpful bunch, although tonight the nurses left the internet access turned on too long in some of our patients activity rooms.....
In 1962 Dodge built 2,824 V-8 powered short bed D100's. I'd have to guess, based upon the 11 or 12 that we have registered here, that there may be as many as 100 or as few as....12 left in the USA. Given the price of scrap steel on the world market, salvage yards and "collector" truck yards are clearing out their stuff at record rates. If you find ANY '62 in ANY condition short of a rust bucket, that's the truck to grab and fix it up into the truck of your youth. Now as soon as I say that there will be some primo '62 like was mentioned earlier pop up for $500, but don't count on it.
Good Luck in you rsearch and if you post the type of bed, Sweptline or Utiline and some of the other info that has been asked for, these guys will narrow it down some. If you're not sure what the heck they are talking about, please feel free to e-mail me.
