Message:   Sounds interesting, Jimmie. I don't like the steering wheel position on my truck, either. I would like for it to be a couple of inches lower. I wish I'd adjusted it when I modified my column for my Prototech installation but don't want to go back into it now. One thing you might think about is using the sliding "D" section from a Chevy column like Steve supplied with the Prototech kit. I don't think you want a ridgedly(?) fixed length steering shaft due to frame and body flex. You would use the Borgeson with the d connector on top and splines on the bottom. The sliding section makes it easy to hook and un-hook from the steering box, plus makes measuring for length less critical.
