Message:   I went to the local autoparts store to get new brake parts for my '68 Adventurer. As he's looking up part numbers the partman says "I know a company that makes a disc brake conversion for that." "oh really?", I said with raised eyebrows, knowing such a kit doesn't exist. Sure enough the company he searched out makes everything but for these years dodge trucks. Anyone know if there is a company out there working on this, or maybe you've done it before? Not a full IFS swap, just the spindles, rotors etc. Also, whatever happened to that prototech company that made power steering units? out of business? What happened to that 4 barrel intake Weiand made for the poly, I don't it see it on their site? I guess the demand just isn't there... back to brakes, does anyone know when dodge changed the bolt pattern on the half tons? This '68 is 5x4.5", what other years of rear drums and rims would fit?
Thanks
