Message:   I didn't have that problem when I installed mine. I would open up the holes in the plate that screws to the floor enough to get the column centered. Hook up the borgeson joint and then adjust the column to where the joint is centered in the shift tube. Be sure to put the plate with the tab back in between the column and dash, and be sure the tab is in the hole in the column.
