Message:   Hey, Terry, Charles Talbert, a very highly respected M37 restorer, suggested to me that relining with brass was the hot ticket. I was skeptical, but as he explained the brass tends to fit in the bore nicely, grips well, and is far harder than the lubricated rubber seals that work inside it. Apparently it may be cheaper than stainless due to much easier machining requirements. I'll try to chase down a link to the reline shop if I saved it.
