Message:   Just curious, what's your all time 'favorite' Mopar engine? I know that's a tough call but it goes along with some other threads and you certainly have strong experience with all of them.

I risk offending many by saying mine, for general use and daily driver duty, is the venerable 383. Second choice is Poly 318.

Much of my preference isa: good & cheap parts availability, power, torque, MPG, little need for radical accessories to build a heart stopping engine that will run hard for many years.
