Message:   Thanks! Yes, that makes sense. Possibility that one set of windings in the motor can take it as places like JC Whitney and others used to sell a little resistor thingy to "Make any windshield wiper variable speed". Haven't seen those in a while...

I'd much prefer a Townie V/S original. Town Wagon uses a different mounting than Sweptlines far as I know. I might have to see if an electric motor shop can do anything with the original, could be the simplest answer.
