Subject:   Re: Engine mounts 1966 D100 V8, which way do they go ???

Message:   The valley is formed by the steel plate on the bottom of the mount being folded up along the side. It's not folded to a full ninety degrees so it forms a "valley" along beside the rubber. I don't see that it serves any purpose as it's not close enough to the rubber to really give it any support. Any way, I put the valley to the front when I installed my engine. The parts catalog doesn't show the mounts as having them.
