Message:   It's NOT the drive shafts that have to be parallel, it's the MAIN shaft of each component!
Engine crank-Transmission main shaft-Transfer case main shaft-Front pinion shaft-Rear pinion shaft, the centerline ao ALL of these shafts must be parallel within 1 degree. They do NOT have to be in a line, they can be offset both vertically and horizontally, but the main shafts MUST be parallel. The drive shafts can be at any angle within 3-6 degrees of the main shafts. The drive shafts and MAIN shafts are different components. Hope that clears it up.
