Message:   All my driveshafts are rebuilt and balanced, and I have set the correct angles for the u-joints. When I'm driving along about 60mph I feel a high frequency vibration. I can let off the gas slightly and it stops, but if I let off completely it comes back. Also, being a short bed truck and slightly higher than stock, my rear driveshaft u-joints have a fairly steep angle, about 19 degrees if I remember right. I'm thinking that the married tc would get rid of two possible causes of the vibration, the center drive shaft, and being farther forward, would have less angle on the rear shaft.
As I mentioned, this is more day dream right now than real possibility. I have other priorities, like new upholstery, for the time being. Although,if I should happen to run across a big block 727/married tc I probably would get it so I'd have it if/when I do want to make the swap.
