Message:   Anyone have a diagram or a picture of how the manual choke is supposed to be hooked up to the cable? Is there supposed to be that diaphram thingy on there that opens the choke at high RPMs (or high vacume anyway)?

I sent my Carter off to get it rebuilt. I know I wasn't supposed to, but the guy at NAPA swore that it would be a really high quality job and had gave him the highest recomondations. Well, didn't get back what I expected. They took off the diaphram, and didn't replace the throttle shaft. So, I can suck air through the bushings they put in. I think its because of wear on the shaft not a bad bushing, but I haven't had time to call him yet.
